Our Sensei are Michael O’Quin, Godan (5th Degree Black Belt) and John Driscoll, Yondan (4th Degree Black Belt). Both have studied and taught Japanese Martial Arts for more than 40 years.
O’Quin Sensei is a direct student of Morihiro Saito Shihan, training with Saito Shihan in Japan, and Bill Witt Shihan. He was also the dojocho of Aikido in Silicon Valley before retuning to Louisiana.
Driscoll Sensei, in addition to his Yondan in Aikido (4th Degree Black Belt), possesses Yudansha ranks (Black Belts) in Kodokan Judo and Isshin Ryu Karatedo, and practices Toyama Ryu Battodo (the art of drawing and cutting with a sword). He is a retired Federal law enforcement officer with more than 35 years in law enforcement, who lived, trained and taught Japanese martial arts more than ten of those years in Asia.
